Youth CAN is being supported by the "Promotion of Civil Society Dialogue Between European Union and Turkey: Youth Initiatives Grant Scheme" for the period between July 2008 - August 2009.
The “White Paper on Intercultural Dialogue” presented here, emphatically argues in the name of the governments of the 47 member states of the Council of Europe that our common future dependson our ability to safeguard and develop human rights, as enshrined in the European Convention on Human Rights, democracy and the rule of law and to promote mutual understanding.
The Declaration aims both to preserve cultural diversity as a living, and thus renewable treasure that must not be perceived as being unchanging heritage but as a process guaranteeing the survival of humanity; and to prevent segregation and fundamentalism which, in the name of cultural differences, would sanctify those differences and so counter the message of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
This document, elaborated by REDS and Adolfo Patón from the organisation AFEMJO-CLM pretends to be a useful tool for those organisations willing to network. It provides information, articles, methodologies and good practises about networks and networking activities and may help you in your daily tasks.
